We're doing a lot on March 22nd and I want you there.

"March/Forward" opens at Shoebox Projects — new work from 17 Shoebox members. We'll also have Call and Response books on view and a selection of work from my long-running Perceive Me series. It's a full house.

And we're celebrating. 12 years of Shoebox!! That feels big. I started this in 2014 with a folding table and a lot of feelings about how artists deserved better support and community, and here we are. I'm so grateful for everyone who has shown up over the years — as members, as volunteers, as collaborators, as friends.

We're also throwing a thank you to everyone who participated in and volunteered at the Startup Art Fair. That event took so much energy and heart from so many people and I want to acknowledge that out loud.

There will be cake. Obviously.

"March/Forward" Opening Reception + 12 Year Anniversary Party Sunday March 22nd, 2-4pm Shoebox Projects at the Brewery Arts Complex Free and open to the public — drop in anytime

The show runs through Brewery Artwalk weekend, April 25th and 26th, so if you can't make it the 22nd, come then.
