Come work with our inspiring team at Shoebox Arts, Art and Cake and Shoebox Projects. We run a support network for artists in Los Angeles with a focus on mentorship, management, business coaching, marketing and community. We also founded the online art magazine Art and Cake and run the alternative art space, Shoebox Projects.
Our mission is to create community and build bridges while promoting equity and abundance through contemporary art and practice. We are an art facilitator, incubator and advocate, cultivating generosity and inclusivity in order to lift each other up.

We are located at the Brewery Artist Complex in Los Angeles, Located on Chumash, Kizh, and Tongva land
JOB DUTIES: Posting on our Clients FB/IG accounts Posting content on Shoebox Arts/Projects FB/IG accounts Posting on Art and Cake FB/IG Accounts Keep artist tracking/event spreadsheet up to date Create content calendar for month for social media accounts Go to our client’s art events when you can and post on shoebox social media Go to other LA Art events and post on shoebox and art and cake social media Social media engagement
REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of contemporary social media platforms Good research skills Enthusiastic and self-motivated Possess excellent written and verbal communication Possess multi-tasking and coordination experience Passion for art Demonstrate attention to detail while maintaining perspective Have working knowledge of Photoshop, Google drive, Excel/Word Able to collaborate and also work independently on defined projects
Currently working from home but may come into the office (Brewery Arts Complex) for meetings or artist studio visits in the future.
Must live in Southern California
