Let Me Eat Cake, No Regrets

Let Me Eat Cake: No Regrets is the fourth round of a series born out of my own history with an eating disorder, and how food becomes comfort, control, celebration, and shame, sometimes all in the same bite. Dessert felt like the most universal way in, everyone has a cake memory. I curate this show because it's how I process something therapy alone couldn't fully hold, and because these artists answering the same question, what does dessert actually mean to you, says more together than I ever could alone. No Regrets is about getting to the other side of that struggle and still choosing to eat the cake. Still choosing joy. Still choosing to take up space, exactly as I am.
